Avalokiteshvara

Avalokiteshvara, also known as Chenrezig in Tibetan Buddhism, is a revered bodhisattva in Mahayana Buddhism. His name translates to "the Lord who looks down with compassion," indicating his role as a compassionate being who hears the cries of sentient beings and works tirelessly for their liberation from suffering.
