Vairocana Buddha
Vairochana Buddha, also known as the "Great Illuminator" or "Radiating Light," is a central and primordial Buddha in Mahayana Buddhism, particularly in East Asian traditions like Chinese, Japanese, and Korean Buddhism. He is depicted seated on a lotus throne with his hands in the dharmachakra mudra, symbolizing the turning of the wheel of Dharma. Vairochana is associated with space, wisdom, clarity, and the realization of the ultimate nature of reality. In some Buddhist traditions, Vairochana is considered the Adibuddha, or primordial Buddha, from whom all other Buddhas emanate.
